AN APPLICATION
Notice is hereby given that on September 12, 2019, ACNB Bank, with its principal place of business located at 16 Lincoln Square, Gettysburg, Adams County, PA, 17325, filed with the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation and the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, pursuant to the provisions of Chapter 16 of the Banking Code of 1965, as amended, an application for approval to merge with:
Frederick County Bank
of Frederick, Frederick County, Maryland, under 
the charter of ACNB Bank.
The corporate title of the resulting institution will be ACNB Bank.
All interested persons may file comments regarding this application, in writing, with the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and Securities, Bureau of Bank Supervision, 17 North Second Street, Suite 1300, Harrisburg, PA 17101-2290.
In order to be considered, comments regarding this application must be received by the Department of Banking and Securities no later than thirty (30) days after the date that notice of the filing of this application is published in the Pennsylvania Bulletin. Publication in the Pennsylvania Bulletin may or may not appear contemporaneously with this notice. Please check the Pennsylvania Bulletin Web site at www.pabulletin.com to determine the due date for filing comments.
Additionally, any person wishing to comment on this application may file his or her comments in writing with the Regional Director of the Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation at the New York Regional Office at 350 Fifth Avenue, Suite 1200, New York, NY 10118-0110, not later than 30 days after the date of the publication of this notice. The nonconfidential portions of the application are on file at the FDIC’s New York Regional Office and are available for public inspection during regular business hours. Photocopies of the nonconfidential portion of the application file will be made available upon request.
