REGISTRATION OF OUT-OF-STATE
CHILD CUSTODY ORDER

In accordance with the requirements outlined in S.C. Code of Laws Ann. § 63-15-358(A), you are notified that Helen Christine McKinney, the Petitioner, has registered an out-of-state child custody order in the Horry County Clerk of Court’s office. Pursuant to S.C. Code of Laws Ann. § 63-15-358(C), you are being notified of the following: 
1.	The Order is an “Order – Petition for 
	Guardianship of a Minor,” dated Novem-
	ber 20, 2019, under File No. cs19-02251, 
	in the Family Court of the State of Dela-
	ware in and for Sussex County.       
2.	As a registered order, the out-of-state 
	child custody order is enforceable as of 
	the date of registration, in the same 
	manner as a child custody order issued 
	by a court of this State. 
3.	If you wish to contest the validity of 
	this registration, you must contact the 
	Horry County Clerk of Court’s office to 
	request a hearing within twenty days 
	after service of this notice. The Horry 
	County Clerk of Court is located at 1201 
	Second Avenue, Conway, SC 29526.
4.	If you do not contest this registration 
	within twenty days as specified above, 
	the out-of-state child support order will 
	be confirmed and enforced by the family 
	court and any alleged arrearages. Once 
	the registration is confirmed, you will 
	not be able to contest the registration 
	with respect to any matter that you 
	could have asserted within the twenty 
	day period.

Failure to request a hearing within 20 days results in the registration being confirmed as a matter of law. If the order is confirmed, you will receive confirmation of the registration of the order (S.C. Code of Laws Ann. § 63-15-358 (E)).
